Water Supply Zone (DWD-WaterSupplyZones:DwdWsz)

General information on individual water supply zones which exceed 1000 m3 of water supplies a day as average or serve more than 5000 persons. A water supply zone is a geographically delineated area within which water destined for human consumption is extracted from one or more sources within which the waterquality is considered to be uniform. This uniform quality can vary over time. These water supply zones are compiled for reporting under Directive 98/83/EC (Drinking Water Directive).
