Starkregenzonierung (Starkregenzonierung)

Bei dem vorliegenden Kartenprodukt handelt es sich um eine statistische Auswertung von Geländemodellen. Das Ziel ist, Senken zu erkennen, in denen sich bei Starkregen Wasser sammeln kann. Die Analyse wurde mit Gelände- und Oberflächenmodellen verschiedener Herkunft und Auflösung getestet. Sie ist nach bisherigen Testergebnissen robust genug, um auch auf Oberflächenmodellen, wie z.B. dem SRTM-Modell angewendet zu werden. Wie andere statistische Verfahren auch, liefert das Produkt keinen Hinweis auf konkrete Gefahren, sondern einen Hinweis auf das Gefahrenpotential. Die Bedeutung der Farben ist: - Dunkelblau: Senke - Helleres Blau: Hang unten - Grün: Hang mitte - Orange: Hang oben - Gelb: Flach - Rot: Kuppe Die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen oder mehrere Schäden in 10 Jahren durch Hochwasser nimmt in dieser Reihenfolge von Dunkelblau nach Rot von 12 % auf 3 % ab. Somit besteht in blauen Gebieten gegenüber roten Gebieten nur ein vierfach erhöhte Wahrscheinlichkeit einen Schaden zu erleiden. Schäden durch Starkregen können immer in allen Bereichen auftreten. Die Karten basieren auf einer vereinfachten Modellierung und dem SRTM-Höhenmodell ((c) NASA, USGS, DLR), und spiegeln somit auch alle Vereinfachungen der Analyse und Fehler des verwendeten Höhenmodells wider. Sie wurden bisher nur für ausgewählte Gebiete in Nordrhein-Westfalen evaluiert, und können bei anderen Landformen abweichende Ergebnisse liefern. Das Produkt ersetzt keine hydrographischen Detailanalysen. Für die Korrektheit und Nutzbarkeit der Daten wird keine Gewähr übernommen.
