bigfoot_fgp_current (fireops:bigfoot_fgp_current)
Fire growth predictions for large fires in Canada for the current day. Burned areas and ignition zones are determined from satellite imagery (hotspots) and are therefore approximate. Simulations are for 48 hours beginning at midnight
bluesky_nextday (fireops:bluesky_fcst_nextday)
Day after tomorrow's smoke forecast (peak values) as provided by FireSmoke.ca.
bluesky_today (fireops:bluesky_fcst_today)
Today's smoke forecast (peak values) as provided by FireSmoke.ca.
bluesky_tomorrow (fireops:bluesky_fcst_tomorrow)
Tomorrow's smoke forecast (peak values) as provided by FireSmoke.ca.
cfdms_fire_points (cfdms:cfdms_fire_points)
CFDMS presents near real time fire detections from a variety of satellite based sensor systems. Hotspots are aggregated to single points within a 5 km radius representing all detections within that area, as such geolocation may not be precise. CFDMS does not detect all fires, in particular small fires may not be detected. CFDMS will not detect fires through cloud cover. Although false positive screening is conducted it is still possible that industrial areas and solar reflection off of water bodies or certain cloud types may be incorrectly identified as wildfires.
cldn_strikes_dmc_last24hours (fireops:cldn_strikes_dmc_last24hours)
Drought Moisture Code (DMC) values at lightning strike locations (that have occurred over the last 24 hours). Lightning data collected from CLDN.
cldn_strikes_dmc_last24to48hours (fireops:cldn_strikes_dmc_last24to48hours)
Drought Moisture Code (DMC) values at lightning strike locations (that have occurred during the past 24 to 48 hours inclusively). Lightning data collected from the Canadian Lightning Detection Network (CLDN).
